I just found this blog, it's the fascinating story of Vivian Maier, who's previously unseen photography was only discovered recently. Check out the blog for the whole story and lots of great photographs.
I'm a graphic design student at the University of Leeds. This blog is my way of posting about what I've been up to design-wise and talking about anything creative I've seen out there and liked or felt some other emotion about. For my full portfolio visit kirstymann.co.uk

These are images of an outcome from a recent university project set by Elmwood. The brief gave each student a word to base the project around, my word was ‘panacea’ which means ‘an answer or solution for all problems or difficulties’. The concept was to present me as a panacea for all the needs of a design studio, as a piece of self promotion. The idea being that the target audience can pick my characteristics to build the perfect designer, or if they want all the options, the answer is me. The illustrations were cut out of board using a laser cutter, so that all the pieces fit perfectly together.

I flipping love the new innocent smoothie advert! I think it's really funny in the way the smoothie bottle is made into a superhero but in an obviously fake way, (my favourite bit is that you can clearly see the wires used to make it look like its flying, and the pole its stuck to).
